New shows: Babyslave with Damo Suzuki (24 Aug) & Brighton Maker’s Faire (8 Sept)

I am back after an epic and strange spring and summer performing “We Won’t Rock You” with my erstwhile electro music cabaret duo Eccentronic. We entertained and bemused audiences at the Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe festivals, served up hot cheese toasties, failed to ‘rock’ and even got a 4 star review in Time Out. Get all the skinny on the Eccentronic website .

Two new shows:

Tago Mago 24th August

Babyslave with Damo Suzuki
Tago > Mago
24th August, Lass O Gowrie, Manchester

My post-industrial trio Babyslave will be both supporting Damo Suzuki (from the legendary Can) in Manchester, and I’ll be wigging out with him with some Ethervox Pro style theremin bliss out.

Here’s a video of our latest EP Fragile Boy On A Bicycle – which you can get now on pay-what-you-want download.

Hypnotique at Brighton Mini Maker’s Faire

Brighton Mini Maker’s Faire After Dark Party
Sat 8th Sept,  8pm-midnight, Brighton Dome

When you’ve spend the long day crafting, soldering and creating all kinds of elaborate hand made DIY things, what better evening can be spent then enjoying weird DIY made music.  Last year’s event featured the lovely Thomas Truax and Sarah Angliss (whom I had the pleasure of duetting with on a theremin duet of, ‘I Feel Love’,  days after Donna Summer’s death in a very hot theatre supporting Professor Elemental at Brighton Fringe.

This year other quality DIY musique-ers are myself performing a short set of theremin unusualness and film soundtracks, ad Gameboy opera creator Henry Holmesweet and Nomadic‘s wearable sound system.

Buy a ticket – or hand craft your own.
